6 months pregnant.
108 days until Christmas... (Hopefully Gia will be here to celebrate the birth of baby Jesus in the flesh , not hanging out in my uterus, stressing me out… thinking how in the world can I pull off a birthday party during the Holiday season *shudder*)
Still craving Pumpkin & fruit galore-checkity check.
No sleep for me-you betcha.
Back pain-ugh die now.
Also I had my first maternity shopping experience at A Pea in the Pod. Wish I could say it was magical and that I felt beautiful and glowing- like a tiny fertile fairy glittering across a fashion runway.
It. Was. Not. Like. That.
First - Target has the BEST maternity clothes ever. Second- I really miss my sense of style…. I’m assuming G has it on Loan until she arrives. *ahem little one, I get it back once you grace us with your pretty self and proclaim to be America’s Next Top Stylist*
The experience was depressing and I was sad to watch my body fit into moo-moo type dresses, and then to tell myself “oh wow this is how you should look preggo, like a little gnome that would be featured in Julie’s garden.” Or “you look beautiful, your chest is porntastic, the baby bump is oh so cute-you rock!” *eye roll*
It was hard. Especially when there was designer goodness galore right in front of my eyes…tempting me, begging me to justify trying on non-maternity fashion. Sigh, The sacrifices we make for our little bundles of joy. But I did find two dresses I liked-yipppeeee! and a cute top- double yipppeeeee! So I guess I shouldn’t complain….that much.
Shopping is still an art form and lucky for me- something I have a black belt in. Now, I just concentrate on buying cuteness for Baby G and Baby C-(Auntie D needs to know what you are already!) and spoiling Jason rotten with new cowboy gear.
The nursery is on hiatus until Home Depot decides to call us about the carpet. I am beyond irritated with this. CALL DAMMIT.
I cannot believe how time flies, little Gia girl will be here before I know it.
